1. Purpose:

The position shall be primarily responsible for managing overall application service at Iron making customer sites within the region. Shall be accountable for timely application following company product's quality and safety standards. The position will also be responsible for transferring best practices in Iron making application service from other company's locations.

2. Dimensions of Position:

Area of Operations: Iron Zone – SEA

Will be responsible to work closely with the teams based at the Iron zone sites. The dimension of the position will also involve rolling out improvement projects and quality initiatives in product, applications at the iron zone of customer locations.

3. Key Result Areas:
- Providing all aspects of application service comprehensively.
- Playing a significant role in the implementation of improvement activities in BF trough area of the customer sites in a time bound manner.
- Providing the technical support in rolling out of New products (including tap hole clay), application technique, equipment trial and establishing those in the customer sites.
- Building a collaborative working relationship with the application teams based at multiple customer sites through regular interactions, TOT/knowledge sharing and sharing of best practices.
- Regular Problem solving at various sites – CCAR analysis with on time quality resolutions.
- Involves in preparation of techno – commercial proposals for new projects in the Blast furnace area in consultation with his superior and take part in the technical discussion with the customers.

4. Problem Solving & Complexity:

This position is expected to suggest solutions / improvement proposals based on Scientific Analysis of information while dealing with challenges impacting the overall Iron zone business of the organization. Some of the focus areas are mentioned below:
