- Provide direct support and leadership to plant manager for all manufacturing financial information
- Lead factory transformation and growth by meeting the manufacturing target and operating budget
- Lead finance operations & planning inclusive of GE planning & reporting cycle
- Execute financial metrics for product volumes, provide forecasting and drive “say-do” financial results.
- Track JIT operations in handling inventory & optimizing cash
- Implement plant operating metrics (KPI’s) such as % Direct Labor, productivity, quality, inventory, cash, and environmental health and safety metrics
- Track Actual Manufacturing Hours vs. Plan, variance analysis and corrective action
- Lead site variable & base cost out actions and drive financial accountability for cost
- Drive competitive Operating Cost per Hour (OCPH) to compete in global market
- Manage and track P&E investment/site expansion
- Develop leasing initiatives with GE Capital or other financial institutions for cash optimization
- Manage team of financial analysts supporting all financial activities for the operating team
- Work with Controller to oversee Balance Sheet and lead annual physical inventory tracking
- Work with Controller to perform quarterly closing activities
- Support integration activities
- Take the lead in Value Stream Mapping (VSM) from finance perspective for factory efficiency
- Drive Sourcing initiatives to meet working capital, inventory and cash commits
